  • Genomic selection in small ruminants​

    Small ruminants are important cultural and economic livestock in many countries around the world. We work with farm associations and to develop and apply cutting-edge technologies to increase the genetic value of landrace in Spain and other Mediterranean countries.

  • Genomic selection in walnut

    In 2018, the high-density AxiomTM J. regia 700K SNP genotyping array is developed and validated. This sophisticated genetic tool is available nowadays and allow us to apply genomics selection programs to adapt to news market demands in a much faster pace.

  • Phytosanitary and animal nutrition

    We are currently working with our partners in new assays in phytosanitary products, plant nutrients, animal feed additives. These products will help you improving the quality and profitability of your agricultural and livestock business.

  • Cherry Genetics Reference Panel​

    In collaboration with the centro de investigaciones científicas y tecnológicas de Extremadura (CICYTEX) GC Genomics is sequencing more than one hundred cherry cultivars, many of them out of market many decades ago that provide an unprecedented phenotypic.

  • Cannabis

    We are implementing new hemp genetic research and development in our facilities in Canada. We have submitted the first Plant Patent Application at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (US Department of Commerce) without botanical description of the strain, just submitting its whole genome sequence.

  • Human health

    iLabSystems is the human health branch of GCGenomics. In iLabSystems we help companies and research organizations to analyze genomic and epigenomics data, design the statistical approach to clinical research projects, develop health economic and epidemiological models and apply machine learning
